2. Overview

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and loads no third-party content. Fonts and graphics are hosted on our own web space. We only process personal data where this is needed to run the site and handle your requests.

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) and delivered via its network. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time, requested URL, browser and operating system to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and fast operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the EU standard contractual clauses also apply.

4. Contact form and support tickets

When you write to us via the contact or ticket form, we process your details (name, company, email address, optional phone number, topic, urgency and message) to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request concerns a contract or steps towards one, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your details are passed via a Cloudflare function to our task system Notion (Notion Labs, Inc., 2300 Harrison St, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA) and stored there. We have a data processing agreement with Notion including the EU standard contractual clauses; Notion is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

We delete your request once it has been dealt with and no statutory retention duties apply, at the latest three years after our last contact. Business correspondence is kept for six years under § 257 HGB and § 147 AO.

5. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your address and message to reply. Our email runs on Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., Dublin), with whom we have a data processing agreement. Legal basis and retention as in section 4.

6. Remote support

We use the RustDesk software for remote support. During a session, which you start yourself and can end at any time, we see your screen and, at your request, can make inputs and transfer files. The connection is end-to-end encrypted. To set up the connection, your RustDesk ID and IP address are processed by a relay server. Until our own server is in service, these are the public servers of the RustDesk project. We do not record sessions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For ongoing support we also sign a data processing agreement.

7. Links to other sites

This site links to other providers, such as our brands OrderBell and explore.tips or the RustDesk download page. Their own privacy policies apply there. No data is transferred until you click a link.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Our competent authority is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
